LaFayette Public Library was established in 1936. In 1966 the Library moved to the old Farrington House. Then, in 1996 it was moved to its present location, LaFayette Commons. It is one of the southernmost libraries affiliated with the Onondaga County Public Library System. The Onondaga County Public Libraries have over a million books, DVDs, audiobooks, CDs and magazines. We also have specialized equipment, materials and knowledgeable staff in the following departments and collections.
